Many companies and providers today use firewalls, block ports, limit updates, don't allow programs to be loaded, or have other software that prevents the proper operation of active content from all.net. Here are the most common problems we encounter and how to fix them.
Blank page returned: Active content, such as games may be blocked either by your firewall or by your machine, or if other filtering is used on them, the programs will not be able to communicate and the site won't work. It has to be disabled if you are going to use this content. Contact your site administrator and tell them of your problems and they should be able to fix it in a whiz.
Page with undesired response is returned: Some pages give messages like "You lose" - or - "No such page here". If you got there by clicking on a link from one of our pages, chances are the problem is in a proxy server or other similar content altering filter at your site. It has to be disabled if you are going to use this content. Contact your site administrator and tell them of your problems and they should be able to fix it in a whiz.
Java program does not work: Almost always this comes from one of two issues:
You have an old or unofficial or corrupted version of Java. Go to http://java.sun.com and get an up to date version or use your automatic software update process to fix it.
You are running Windows and it tried to turn the java "jar" file into a zip file, unzipped it, and dumped a whole bunch of files onto your file system. Use "Save-as" or a similar function from your browser and save the .jar file to your desktop. Rename it from the false name given it by Windows (change the ".zip" back to a ".jar" and use the original name that it was provided with when we supplied it with capitalization and all). Then double click on it and it should run.
