Terminals

The Terminals White Glove distribution provides 5250, 3270, and related emulation so that a bootable White Glove CD can be used for access to mainframes and AS/400 computers.

The example below shows 5250 terminal emulation accessing an AS/400 computer. It is run by selecting xt5250 from the terminals menu in the X11 interface. This terminal emulator includes keymapping capabilities, printer emulation, and the whole range of things you would expect from a 5250 emulator.

The example below shows 3270 terminal emulation with the detachable keypad widget logging into a TSO system. This terminal emulator has the full range of emulation capabilities including Model 2, 3, 4, 5, and other screen sizes, a range of fonts and languages, programmable key codings, and keystroke recording.
