RESPONSIBILITIES


         5.  Heads of U.S.  Government departments and agencies shall
ensure that DAAs are made aware of the body of knowledge outlined in
this instruction, and that such training is provided to those requiring
it at the earliest practicable date.
  
                                                                                  
         6 The National Manager shall:
                      
  
                  a.  maintain and provide an INFOSEC training standard
for DAAs to U.S.  Government departments and agencies;


                  b.  ensure that appropriate INFOSEC training courses
for DAAs are developed; and
              c.  assist other U.S.  Government departments and agencies
in developing and/or conducting INFOSEC training activities for DAAs as
requested.
