For some years I have been reviewing technical (mostly computer) books and
posting the reviews on various newsgroups and lists on the net.  Recently I have
been able to establish a mailing list for the reviews, for those who want to
ensure that they get them all, and a second archive site.

Those intesested can subscribe to the techbooks mailing list by sending email to
techbooks-subscribe@egroups.com, or via the Web at
http://www.eGroups.com/list/techbooks/.

The Victoria Telecommunity Net site may be accessed at 
http://victoria.tc.ca/int-grps/books/techrev/ or 
http://www.victoria.tc.ca/techrev or http://victoria.tc.ca/techrev, and I have
recently updated it (for those who have seen the lack of activity over the past
year).  The second site has been provided by CuD and NIU and is now operational
at http://sun.soci.niu.edu/~rslade/.  The specific files to look for are either
mnbk.htm for the main topic menu, review.htm for the (rather large) index file,
or rms.htm if you don't mind finding your way through my meandering bio based
menu.
