Hi There!

I'm Rick Sibilia from Zurich, Switzerland. I am a research scientist 
at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology and my main interest is 
IW and critical infrastructure protection. I am doing a Ph.D. work on
that field.

Beside that I am a member of the local Ass. of Old Crows chapter (see
www.aochq.org , www.jedonline.com or www.swisscrows.org to know what
these are).

I also would like to attract your attention to an upcoming conference
we will hold here in Zurich, Switzerland. Please see the call for papers
below.

In the tradition of the previous AOC International Conferences in Bonn and 
Paris, the  technical program will pursue the highest possible standards to
give the participants a privileged and outstanding view on the actual and 
future developments in the field of Information and Electronic Warfare.

We are looking for unclassified papers describing operative experience, 
requirements, research results and product capabilities in the following 
areas:

1) Information Operations
   Information Assurance, IW early warning, infrastructure monitoring and 
   reconstitution, Offensive Information Warfare, red teaming, IW on the 
   Battlefield.

2) Electronic Warfare
   New receiver, jammer and antenna technologies, EW data processing and 
   fusion with other sensors, EW interoperability (in alliances and/or 
   coalitions) and high-power electromagnetic weapons.

3) Electro-Optics and Infrared Sensors and Countermeasures
   EO/IR sensors, image processing and recognition, target tracking, data 
   fusion and modern countermeasures.

Prospective authors should provide a preliminary manuscript in english of 
max. 8 pages by september 30, 1999. We encourage sending the papers in 
electronic form by e-mail. We accept the following data format: TeX DVI, 
Adobe PDF, PostScript, FrameMaker and Microsoft Word 95/97. Fax and mail 
are accepted, as well.

After the review and selection process, authors will be asked to provide a 
camera-ready copy by march 1, 2000. All papers will be published in the 
conference proceedings.

Each speaker will have 20 minutes time to present his work (questions and 
remarks not included).
