 - Call for Papers for iwar.org.uk

Hi to everyone,

I am a 3rd Year mature student reading War Studies at King's College
London. I have had a keen interest in computers from an early age,
and I am currently working on the launch of my new Information Warfare
domain: iwar.org.uk

About two years ago I became interested in Information Warfare,
particularly cyber-terrorism and critical infrastructure protection,
which also happens to be the topic of my B.A. dissertation. I have
an ongoing interest in the subject as a whole.

My ultimate aim is to undertake a Ph.D. in that field, I am
currently working on my research proposal (draft version); with
the likely focus being Critical Infrastructure Protection
as most of my reading this year has tended towards that subject.

I was very busy last term planning my future (postgraduate, job,
financing, ...). Finally, I have enough spare time to start my
project: the creation of a Information Warfare domain

I got the domain: iwar.org.uk and I have 135 MB of Web space!

I intend to develop the site into one of the major iwar resources
site within the next two to three years. At the moment I am working on
its design (it is already accessible, but hopefully within the next
few weeks the basic design should be finished including guest book,
discussion forums on different aspects of Information Warfare,
mailing lists, ...)

At the moment I intend to start with the following 'chapters':

- Information Warfare (defensive and offensive)

- RMA & C4I BM (BM = battlefield management)

- Cyberterrorism (I am working a paper on that topic right now, it
should be finished by end of March)

- Critical Infrastructure Protection (hopefully with a bit more
                                      Eurocentric focus)

- Signal Intelligence

- Economic Espionage

- PsyOps

- Hacking

- I-War and International Law

- Military History

I am open for suggestions, please tell me what 'other chapters' might be
useful to add. I intend to host papers in multiple languages (or at
least in English, German, French and Italian, even though it is
preferable if the document is in English as it is 'the language of the
universe').

I would feel honoured if I could post your articles on my web site
as I think it will help to simulate future debates on the broad topic of
Information Warfare. That's also the aim of my web site: to stimulate
the debate about IWar, especially in Europe.

Best Regards,

Wanja Eric Naef
