 Ref Chris's comments,

Ok somebody may take this wrong but being as how I have worked for
Information Operations for 15 years I figured I would take a stab at this.

Although a rice bowl of topics(operations) they are all inherently the same.
When I first started there was little Computer Network Attack/Defence, or to
the point we were not that aware of it due to the fact our networks were not
really out there for the real world to worry about.

Today that has changed and we all zip along on what usually equates to 2
little wires that you know are plugged into the back of a computer and a
modem connected somewhere in amongst the maze of bus cables and power wires.

Now we look at most parts of the information (Electronic Warfare, Deception,
OPSEC, Computer Network Attack/Defence) as a total package in Information
Operations Protection. Each one is an entity which somehow plugs into the
rest, why have one as a part of the group without the other. Hence the last
part of IO which is the Protection. So they must sychronize into a one total
package or how can you be either on the offence or defence if you don't have
one without the other.

Well that is it for now, if someone wants the Flame on, so be it.
