hi,
I am in the process of configuring my work computer [WinNT 4.0 on ntfs
build 1381 SP4 with Iexplorer 4 SP1] for internetting, and therefore
deleted some iexplorer-registry settings, and thus got access to some
more sites. I also got the admin-pw and the lanman-pw. Now when i try
to goto altavista, i get:
"403 access denied", and under that it says: "kg-gw (version 1.0) @
[hostdeleted].[companynamedeleted].nl & Apache's mod_rewrite".
The server uses Apache/1.3.6 Server. I wouldn't like to use the admin-
pw, for i guess i know not enough to prevent my computername turning
up in the logs. Who knows and likes to share how to circumvent these
restrictions.
