Hi Iwar,

Think I will start with B) actually ...

Did anyone else read the Amici Brief prepared (and downloadable) from SIIA group?

I can tell you it is one of the best written legal briefs I have read in a long time, and the pertinence here is in their statement that the rise of 'viral attacks' recently in part has focused on the monogrowth culture of MS (FC wrote about that I think?) Sorry, I left my tree-based copy at home, and today is a short day at the Box ... so no reference points until a future date. SIIA sees as a solution the rise of competition to MS giving less likelihood of this type of attack. However, it may be hard to balance that with their fervent point that the computer industry will always continue to work through agreed RFC and other means of introducing cross-platform, cross-application compatibility.

Point: This may give the Judge more reason to fulfill the 'destiny of MS,' and divest it into two or three entities (SIIA recommends three)

Now back to A) ... Hey 's'?
Are you stating you didn't make that statement? Natural questions are: are there many s keelings (the one that 'wrote' that reply was << keeling@topquark.spots.ab.ca >>? I don't receive your email address when I am reading the digest, just your name ...

Just my thoughts,

Drew

Subject: I did not say that! wrt deja.com

I don't know if this is a problem or if I'm over reacting. I just did
a search on my user id and chanced across a misquoted (by some usenet
newbie) news article that attributes statements I never said to me.

http://x69.deja.com/[ST_rn=fs]/getdoc.xp?AN=624428330&CONTEXT=959150860.1906835472&hitnum=6

Do people take deja/usenet with a grain of salt, or should I worry
about what anyone can say I said?
