Intersting how people strain to get De Gunzman punished for a Virus that
is supposedly his. In fact I wonder why nobody is sueing Microsoft for
implementing a "feature" like the execution of e-mail attached VB
scripts, that has no practical application at all for any user (apart
the one of implementing a computer virus). As bad as the effects of this
virus were, I think that at least 50% of fault goes to MS.

I am in no way trying to excuse the behaviour of De Gunzman. He is a
hacker and having done what he did, he has to be punished according to
law. The fact that the virus spread with such and efficency on the other
hand was only due to the "mistake" (?) of someone in Redmond. It seems
this aspect is completely forgotten in a country (like the USA) where
liability is so highly valued in the legal system. I'd even go further
and say that all the noise made around the hacker being cought seems
concerted to have people forget about these liabilities.

Any comments? (ok, flame me, I have my opinion... :-) )
