I agree that this is not the easiest issue to decide.  I am not, however,
speaking in a broad philosophical sense regarding the universal " right vs.
wrong" sense.  Of course we have all done boneheaded things, and no one of
us should be held up as an example of purity or impurity for the rest to
either revere or ridicule.

I am suggesting that in the case of verifiable knowns, or even reliable
indications of such that cast reasonable doubt, in cases such as this one, I
believe that the risk I would be assuming exceeds my risk-tolerance level.
