Hello all,

I just a casual bystander at the busy intersection called The
Staganography and after reading all the mails on the subject, it seems
to me that there really is nothing new or interesting about this. All we
have is a piece of news item and a lot of hulla ballu on the
Staganography. It seems to me that the news items itself was IWAR,
considering the different kinds of obtuse and reflex viewpoints that it
generated.

Regards,
Ozair

Per the message sent by e.r.:

You misunderstand. I know lots about tradecraft - the question was:
	What tradecraft did who invent?

Steganography has been used by many folks over a long time frame.
Thousands of years. And it has evolved with technologies all along.
Letters have included microdots since photography got to the point where
it could do decent quality size reduction. Radio broadcasts contained
steganography since there was radio. No doubt so does TV. Computer
networks had steganagraphic content passed through them before the
Internet existed. The Internet started to have steganography soon after
it was first used - albeit not in the form typically seen today.
