Afghanistan's grand council of clerics, the Shura, will not hand over 
Osama bin Laden to America or to any European country. 

According to high level sources in Islamabad, Mullah Mohammed Omar, 
the Taleban's supreme leader, told the Pakistan delegation, led by 
Inter-Services Intelligence director Lieutenant General Mahmood 
Ahmad, that the Taleban may consider handing over bin Laden, prime 
suspect in the September 11 terrorist attacks in the US, to China.
