Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hello Fred and Co., I have to paraphrase an email I received, from an Ayn Rand/Objectivist listserve (OWL). The following solution to the question "What should be done if bin Laden is captured?" came from Capt. Eric Nolte, apparently a pilot with Continental, who wrote that he 'had received this from a friend,' so I'll have to admit this is 'author unknown.' Execute him? NO - doing so increases his 'martyrdom,' and would inflame the souls of extreme fundamentalists that may join his ranks ... Imprison him? NO - doing so increases the likelihood that other terrorist activities would continue and increase into daring hostage-taking events that would allow them to believe an exchange for bin Laden would be possible. SO what to do? Small team enters and captures ObL, silent extraction to a secured facility, meaning a Western hospital (even Walter Reed?). There you perform a full sex change operation, brainwashing included, and send her back to live as a woman. ______________________________________________ Now the Taliban may fall before ObL gets caught, and Afghanistan could be in political or moral evolution during the period mentioned; however, this still could be the only way to have utter humiliation occur, and thus remove his charismatic hold on followers.
