Missing explosives recovered in Texas

HOUSTON -- Seven hundred pounds of missing explosives used for drilling
exploration were recovered yesterday on rural land near Houston, federal
authorities said. The theft was believed to be isolated and unrelated to
terrorist activity, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms said in a
statement.Officials were interviewing two people who had access to the
property where the explosives were buried. The people believed to have stolen
the explosives were not in custody but their arrests were imminent, ATF
spokeswoman Franceska Perot said.Associated Press
