Subject: What you've done and what you can expect My dearest Mr. bin Laden, I must write you concerning your latest venture. It seems that you are laboring under a few mis- conceptions of which I would like to disabuse you. The first is that you seem to have made the assumption that the United States is a country like any other that you have previously visited. In most other countries of the world your visit would have caused panic and inconsolable sorrow; as for America, however, you have just pissed us off. If you will study your history, you will note that Americans are a particularly fun loving, easy going bunch. If you leave us alone, we will leave you alone. If, however, you make a mistake like the Japanese did at Pearl Harbor, if you attack us on our own soil, we rise up and open up not a can or a six-pack or even a case, but a whole keg of whoop-ass. The next thing to consider is that you can't kill all of us. Nor will you be able to scare any of us. We don't scare. Note please that I did not say we don't scare easily. We don't scare, period. We have defeated the greatest human evil that the world has ever known in history. That being the Axis that lined up against us during World War 2...Remember that one? That was the one where we steamrolled all over Europe and the Pacific Rim at the same time and totaled two dictators who would have taken over the world had it not been for the fact that they pissed us off. You also seem to have mistaken our diversity for division just as you have mistaken your manufactured unanimity for union. We are united, hence the name of our country. Just because we usually can't even agree on the shape of the table around which we will gather to debate larger issues does not mean that we are divided in any sense. Just because we have more than one political party does not indicate in any way that we can't work together. In a like manner, just because you only have one political faction does not in any way mean that you have a union of purpose within your group. In fact, the last time I checked, there was a little civil war going on over there. You have managed to wake the sleeping dragon. You have activated a military machine, which is without doubt the most deadly to ever exist on the face of this planet, and you have managed to draw it's crosshairs directly onto you. We don't mind getting hit. It won't stop us in the least. Yes, we will see more Americans die. This is the price of war. Since you felt it necessary to cause us to awaken from our slumber, you will reap the rewards. Since you felt the need to kill our people, you will see your people killed en masse. One more thing is that you seem to think that American civilians are in some way different from our military. In that you would be wrong. We are a nation that was founded on the citizen soldier, and we remain that way. Each man and woman in the US of A is A rebel against the status quo. When there is no status quo to rebel against, we will find one. We are a nation of rebels. I hope this clears things up for you and gives you a better understanding of what you have called down on yourself. We fully intend to hunt you down and kill you, your friends, you supporters, your followers, your family, and your freaking dog. Ye though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we shall fear no evil, because we are the meanest sons-a-bitches in the valley.
