Pakistani Mahbob Gulam Shabir says he trained with Britons at a Taliban camp only days ago, reports the Press Association news agency. Shabir was reportedly being paraded by Northern Alliance troops when he made the claims. He told the Daily Mail he only came to Afghanistan 15 days ago after deciding to help the Taliban and "Muslim world". Shabir said: "I had no training so I went to a camp at a base in Kabul and an Arab instructor gave me a Kalashnikov and told me how to use it. "There were British Pakistanis in Kabul for training and others who were fighting for the Taliban. People came from lots of countries but few from as far as Britain." He said "many dozens" of Britons were fighting with the Taliban. Qudhre Meerahm, a Northern Alliance officer, said he is aware of reports that Britons are fighting for the Taliban, but says he has not captured any.
