The loss of service will occur due to the repair of fiber optic cables that were accidentally cut by a non-AT&T construction crew today. Seven hundred high-speed data customers experienced a loss of service immediately, but in order to repair the problem, cables will need to be spliced and this procedure may affect 85,000 high-speed data and video customers. The repairs will take no more than five hours to be completed with normal service resuming by 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. For more information AT&T Broadband customers can call their local cable office. ------------------------ Yahoo!
