Pandey NEW DELHI, DEC. 18. In a major breakthrough, the Delhi police have decoded the password of the laptop computer recovered from two of the conspirators in the December 13 attack on Parliament. The Special Cell of the police took help from computer experts to decode the password for the gateway into valuable information about the plans formulated by the Jaish-e-Mohammad supreme commander, Ghazi Baba. It is learnt that the laptop, which has an internet connection, carries several e-mails. The e-mails reportedly are addressed to and by those having e-mail addresses with the names of some Bollywood film stars. The laptop contains many facts about the outfit and their command which, sources said, had to be deciphered first. As per the disclosure of the main accused, Mohammad Afzal, who was in close contact with Ghazi Baba, the laptop belonged to the latter and Afzal was asked by the human bomb, Mohammad, to return it to Ghazi Baba after the attack. The revelation suggests that information about attacks in the Capital, as planned by Ghazi Baba, could well have been stored in the laptop. Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell), Mr. Ashok Chand, refused to divulge any information about the laptop's content. However, he said detailed investigations into the information stored in the equipment were on. The Hindu, Wed, Dec 19, 2001 __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
