President Arafat: “We are few meters away from Jerusalem”

Ramallah December 19th Wafa, President Yasser Arafat addressed the
Jerusalemite, yesterday, calling them to stand firmer and stronger
facing the current challenges, saying: “So we all can hold our prayers
in the Alaqsa Mosque and the Church of Sepulcher.
“We are passing through a difficult period” President Arafat addressed
the mass that came to greet H.E. for the Eid Alfitr and support His
Leadership.
“We all have to protect our Holy places, from the Zionist waged
conspiracy against the unity of our Holy City of Jerusalem, they have
closed our Orient House and other institutions but their actions only
strengthen our stand and belief of the righteousness of our cause, no
one can control the nation of the braves, even after 104 years when
the Zionist convention said in Switzerland about our land as “Land
without people for people without land”.s” and when Golda Meier was
asked about it she answered there is no Palestinian people”.
H.E. concluded as calling for stronger Unity saying that we are few
meters away from Jerusalem, we shall pray in the Holy City soon”.
