The Honeynet Project would not be possible without the support of the security
community. The following organizations and individuals have contributed to
the success of the project.
Organizations
-
Foundstone for providing hardware for
our Honeynet and 'Hacking Exposed (2nd Edition)' books as prizes for the
Forensic Challenge.
- linuxsecurity.com for their
support in providing three systems for image downloads in the Forensic
Challenge.
- securityfocus.com for their
support in the Forensic Challenge contest and various whitepapers.
Individuals
-
Paya for devloping our website and
logos.
-
Antonomasia for developing and
providing source code to capture user keystrokes and activity from honeypots.
Donations
If you would like to contribute to the Honeynet Project, we gladly except any
donations. As we have no income, help is appreciated. For donations, contact us
at project@honeynet.org.
We can use any of the following:
- Code: If you have any kernel modules, snort pre-processors, or any other
software that can help the Honeynet Project, we would greatly appreciate any
support.
- Hardware: We are always in need of hardware to build our Honeynets. We are
interested in any hardware you may not need, such as Intel boxes, switches,
routers, Sparcs, etc.
- Money: Of course, we will never turn this down. This will help support us
with our ISP/Provider fees.
