IMINT

Examples of IMINT...
1 = a soldier in a forward position taking photos with a held-held camera. Such pictures, known as "hand-held imagery", can reveal much; "a picture is worth a thousand words."
2 = looking through an old fashioned stereoscope, of the sort used in World War II to make dual air-photos appear three dimensional.
3 = an example of an overhead image of an airbase deep inside the former Soviet Union. This photo, taken in 1966, has now been declassified by the Americans. Visit the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) website for more about declassified Cold War satellite photos.
