Brief bio:

Charles Preston
I teach small computers/networking most of the time, mainly Microsoft NT and
Novell classes. I have MCSE and CNE certifications. I spent several years
doing consulting and seminars on computer security and integrity (mainly
viruses). I also have experience in eavesdropping countermeasures (bug
sweeps).

My two points of contact with information warfare:
A minor role in two infowar studies several years ago;
While doing a virus seminar in Kuwait shortly before Iraqi invasion, I
mentioned that computer viruses had obvious wartime uses. Representatives
from several Gulf countries were at the seminar, including, as I recall,
from the Iraqi government.
