Greetings list Memebers

My name is Haydn RIPPON and I have recently returned to University 
(Royal Melbourne INstitue of Technology) to complete my Honours Year 
in Media. My particular area of interest lies in perception management 
and propaganda. My thesis will be on the Western Media construction of 
Islam and its applications during intercultural conflicts (Gulf War, 
Trade Centre Bombing. Pertinant symbolic  players in the struggle 
between militant Islam and Globalising capitalism will include Osama 
bin Laden, Ayatollah Khoemeni, CNN and NATO. I look forward to 
participating in the forum with enthusiasm.
