Taliban leader says those who help US may "be considered enemies"

TEHRAN, Sept 28 (AFP) -

The leader of Afghanistan's ruling Taliban militia, Mullah Mohammad Omar,
said countries which help the United States in any military action against
his country may "be considered enemies," in an interview with an Iranian
newspaper.

"It is possible that those who help (the United States) from the inside or
outside be considered enemies," Omar told the Entekhab daily in an interview
to be published on Saturday.

The newspaper had asked Omar how the Taliban "will really react" to
countries which help the United States in any attack against Afghanistan in
connection with the September 11 terrorist attacks on New York and
Washington.
