This is the kind if analysis/article that needs to be written, perhaps for
a Harper's or Atlantic. Once it might have fit in Brill's Content, alas
slammed downhill after the Ken Starr-Premier edition, thanks to its
publisher -- who makes Narcissus seem shy and retiring.

Each and every question Fred raised has yet to be fully analyzed. To do
so -- in a political, inforwar, and journalistic context -- would be a
serious effort.
