Per the message sent by Lewis Z. Koch:

There is an underlying question that I think begs to be asked. If
Pravda is the media source of the US 'friends' in Russia, why are they
practicing this information warfare and who are they practicing it
against? Is it primarily targeting the Russian populace? For what
reason? Is it a control issue, or perhaps just force of long habit? Or
is it that people interpret information based on context and that this
context is so engrained in the Russian psyche from long years under
Soviet rule? Of course the same questions should be asked of those who
express the opposing viewpoints.

In this case we know who is practicing information operations against
what targets. The right vs. left eternal debate/struggle in the US
the expression of which is asserted to make the US stronger.
