Not accessible via their service. In principle, this seems entirely unenforceable. My current email utility, when running, automatically downloads incoming mail. If it were customized to automatically generate a "message received" email reply on delivery, that would constitute a "server". What about those "Tony is out of the office" auto-replies? Seems one could produce custom clientware/server emailers, using the standard email protocols, to "tunnel" anything desired. Might not be terribly efficient, or exhibit millisecond response, but seems do-able. And it would look just like "email" to the network. With content suitably encoded (and then made mail-safe), there would be no way to know you were running a general "server". ____tony____ Tony Bartoletti 925-422-3881 <azb@llnl.gov> Information Operations, Warfare and Assurance Center Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Livermore, CA 94551-9900 ------------------------ Yahoo!
